Since December 2000 Workplace Wellness Solutions has provided a comprehensive Corporate Wellness Program for QLT Inc. QLT is B.C.'s largest biotechnology company and is a world leader in photodynamic therapy, a field of medicine utilizing light-activated drugs in the treatment of disease. The company employs over 350 people and is located in Vancouver.
QLT prides itself on its unique and progressive culture and takes a long-term view when it comes to the health and well being of its employees. "The benefits of a corporate wellness program are well-documented and, when we built our new facility, there was no question that a fitness centre and related services were going to be included, " explains Robyn Crisanti, Director, Corporate Communications at QLT.
